# Capitals [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [MEDIEVAL SCULPTOR, Catalan]() - Date: 1201-1250 - Technique: Stone ## Commentary A very late Romanesque sculpture, contemporary with Gothic creations existed from Italy to Galicia. It proposes eclectic solutions, but among other permanent characteristics possesses a renewed penchant for certain aspects of the art of Late Antiquity and the resumption of artistic exchanges with distant parts.
