# Majestas Domini with Evangelists and Saints \(detail\) [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [ROMANESQUE PAINTER, Catalan]() - Date: 1101-1150 - Technique: Fresco ## Commentary Majestas Domini with Evangelists and Saints \(detail\) c. 1123 Fresco Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya, Barcelona This wall-painting originally came from the church of San Clemente de Tahull in the lower Catalan Pyrenées, but like many wall-paintings from this region it was transferred to the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya in Barcelona for safekeeping in the 1930's.
