## Commentary

The poster announcing the second exhibition by the artists&#39; colony on the Mathildenhöhe, Darmstadt, 1904, was printed by Friedrich Schoembs, a printing and publishing house in Offenbach am Main, Germany. It was founded by Friedrich Schoembs \(1832–1879\). In the artists&#39; colony, Cissarz was chiefly active in the spheres of painting and graphics.
