# Madonna and Saints [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [BEMBO, Benedetto]() - Date: 1451-1500 - Technique: Wood ## Commentary This polyptych originally was the altarpiece in the chapel of the Castello di Torrechiara \(Emilia-Romagna\). It is a signed and dated work by Benedetto Bembo, who, together with his brother Bonifazio Bembo, decorated the Golden Room of the Castello.
