# El Darro [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [REGOYOS Y VALDÉS, Dario de]() - Date: 1851-1900 - Technique: Oil on canvas, 59 x 72 cm ## Commentary The river Darro, with its stone bridges built in the 16th century, runs through the old city of Granada. Regoyos and his family spent the winter of 1910-11 in Granada, and he possibly painted this canvas at that time.
