## Commentary

Sellaer drew on compositions by Leonardo da Vinci, echoes of whose &lt;a onclick=&#34;return OpenOther\(&#39;/html/l/leonardo/05copies/4leda.html&#39;\)&#34; href=&#34;/html/l/leonardo/05copies/4leda.html&#34;&gt;Leda and the Swan&lt;/a&gt; are apparent in this naked figure of Charity.
