# Healing of the Blind Man \(detail\) [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [DUCCIO di Buoninsegna]() - Date: 1301-1350 - Technique: Tempera on wood ## Commentary In the scene of the Healing of the Blind Man, there are at least two artists at work: Duccio was responsible for the design and part of the execution, for example the face of Christ. The draperies and the Apostles seem to have been painted by assistants. An unidentified painter, expert in the depiction of architecture, painted the buildings.
