# St Helena, Job \(or Lazarus\) and Adam [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [SOLARI, Cristoforo]() - Date: 1451-1500 - Technique: Marble ## Commentary On 18 February 1501, having returned to Milan, Cristoforo Solari was appointed "Magister a Figuris" of the cathedral, and subsequently executed or had executed various sculptures for the cathedral: attributes for the large roundels of the Doctors of the Church for the lantern, the figures of Adam and Eve \(1504; Museo del Duomo\), the Flagellation \(inscribed CHRI. GOBI MLNO. OPUS\) in the south sacristy, and Job \(or Lazarus; Museo del Duomo\), inscribed CHRI. GOB. on the pedestal, but perhaps not entirely autograph.
