Published in 1703 and containing a series of pictures of famous Venetian buildings, this book is considered an important contribution to the development of Venetian art of veduta in the 18th century. Among buildings considered worthy of inclusion by Carlevaris was the Palazzo Coccina, which until 1645 contained four paintings by Veronese \(now in Dresden\).
