## Commentary

Not much is known about Arcangelo, other than the fact that he was the son of the painter Jacopo del Sellaio and that he took over the running of his father&#39;s workshop upon the latter&#39;s death in 1493. Arcangelo&#39;s style comes very close to that of his father&#39;s, so much so that after Jacopo&#39;s death Arcangelo even finished off some of his commissions.
