# Ca' Pesaro: Façade on the Canal Grande [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [LONGHENA, Baldassare]() - Date: 1601-1650 - Technique: Photo ## Commentary Originally the imposing residence of the Pesaro family, now a museum, this is one of the most important Venetian Baroque buildings. It was completed in 1710, after Longhena's death, by Antonio Gaspari, who also designed the left side of the building, partially visible here.
