# Il Redentore: Façade [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [PALLADIO, Andrea]() - Date: 1551-1600 - Technique: Photo ## Commentary The façade of Il Redentore is determinedly classical: the motif of two classical temple fronts placed one before the other, with the foremost one marking the nave is a device which Palladio borrowed from the classical era.
