## Commentary

Prayer Book 1451 Manuscript \(Ms. 70\), 108 x 80 mm Hessische Landesbibliothek, Darmstadt The Flight into Egypt depicted in the initial D on folio 60v shows the style of the Lochner workshop in all its charm and artistic delicacy. The text on folio 61r is decorated only with an ornamented initial the height of four lines of text.
