## Commentary

Giovanni Demin worked together with Francesco Hayez at the Papadopoli residence at Santa Marina. Demin was given the task of decorating the bathroom. In keeping with the use of the room, Demin chose mythological episodes in which nudes could be included. The picture shows a detail of the wall decoration in the bathroom.
