Fra Felice da Cantalice Receiving the Infant Jesus from the Virgin c. 1600 Oil on panel, 38 x 24 cm Private collection Several preparatory drawings exist for this small panel of unusual iconography. The painter also replicated the same subject in an etching, which is an example of his less well-known activity as a printmaker.
