## Commentary

Prismatic in its definition, the Neoclassical architectural view of Workshop of the Gropius Brothers shows the influential workshop for the city&#39;s theatrical and operatic scene painting, which provided much needed employment for so many of the city&#39;s young artists, including Gärtner, who studied with Carl Gropius.
