# Adoration of the Christ Child [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [PINTURICCHIO]() - Date: 1451-1500 - Technique: Wood ## Commentary This altarpiece, surrounded by a frame decorated with floral motifs and small capitals, forms the centre of the decorative program for the Chapel Della Rovere in Santa Maria del Popolo.
