# Half-length portrait of a young woman in profile [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [RAFFAELLO Sanzio]() - Date: 1501-1550 - Technique: Black chalk, white lead, stylus, quill and ink on paper, 254 x 160 mm ## Commentary This is one of the most exquisite drawings by the young Raphael and dates to the period when the artist moved to Florence between 1504 and 1505.
