He produced numerous votive allegories in which his inventiveness gradually declined, but the paintings remain interesting for their backgrounds, historical details, and as a record of manners. The painting Doge Pietro Loredan Beseeching the Virgin is on the wall of the Sala del Senato \(Hall of the Senate\) in the Palazzo Ducale.
