In part, he looked back to his earlier ideas of severe geometry and loose spatial grouping, while the colours of his materials became lighter. To this period belong the Gemeentemuseum \(1927-35\), The Hague, housing the city's collection of fine and decorative arts. The Kunstmuseum Den Haag is an art museum in The Hague in the Netherlands, founded in 1866 as the 'Museum voor Moderne Kunst'.
