## Commentary

The Drunkenness of Noah is painted in the centre of the vault, between four figures of ignudi bearing garlands of oak leaves and acorns and the ribbons of the medallions painted to resemble bronze. On the sides are the Delphic Sibyl and the prophet Joel.
