# View of the Badoer-Giustinian Chapel [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [LOMBARDO, Pietro]() - Date: 1451-1500 - Technique: Marble ## Commentary At the end of the 15th century, the influential Venetian family Badoer commissioned a carved choir screen for the church and a high-relief altarpiece for their family chapel. These fine marble carvings were most likely done by Pietro, Tullio, and Antonio Lombardo and their workshop.
