The Return from the Hunt c. 1700 Oil on canvas, 109 x 104 cm National Gallery, London This painting is one of a pair of hunting scenes: The Boar Hunt; The Return from the Hunt The two paintings are not allegories of Europe and Asia respectively, as was once thought, but are a pair of gallant hunting scenes.
