## Commentary

Interlude in the Medici Theater c. 1617 Etching, 273 x 200 mm Galleria degli Uffizi, Florence This print depicts the first interlude of the Liberation of Tyrrhenus and Arnea performed in the medici Theater. This performance was designed by Giulio Parigi and performed during Carnival of February 6, 1617.
