# The Founding of Padua [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [FERRARI, Luca]() - Date: 1601-1650 - Technique: Fresco ## Commentary The narration reaches its culmination in the fourth scene of the fresco cycle in the transept hall of the villa, The Founding of Padua, in which Antenor makes his entrance seated upon a magnificent steed. He points out to those present a building site crowded with workers who are scrambling about the scaffolding constructing walls.
