It was only in the eighteenth century that large ballrooms were created. A splendid <a onclick="return OpenOther\('/html/m/massari/rezzobal.html'\)" href="/html/m/massari/rezzobal.html">example is in the Ca' Rezzonico,</a> designed by Giorgio Massari and decorated by Giovanni Battista Crosato and Pietro Visconti.
