# Aeneas's Sacrifice [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [ROTTMAYR, Johann Michael]() - Date: 1701-1750 - Technique: Fresco ## Commentary The Salzburg painter Johann Michael Rottmayr was commissioned in 1705 to decorate the ground floor halls and the stairwells in the Liechtenstein Garden Palace at Rossau.
