## Commentary

Virgin and Child Enthroned with Saints c. 1510 Oil on panel San Pietro Martire, Murano This altarpiece is one of the most important works by this painter from the Lombard town of Lodi. The figure of the Virgin reveals the painter&#39;s first-hand knowledge of Leonardo.
