# Reliefs on the parapet [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [ANSELMO DA CAMPIONE]() - Date: 1151-1200 - Technique: Marble ## Commentary The parapet is unanimously attributed to Anselmo and his collaborators; however, its sculptures, datable between c. 1175 and 1184, show affinities with Provençal Romanesque \(as at <a onclick="return OpenOther\('/html/zgothic/1romanes/po-12c21/08f\_1134.html'\)" href="/html/zgothic/1romanes/po-12c21/08f\_1134.html">Saint-Gilles-du-Gard Abbey,</a> St Trophîme, Arles, and the <a onclick="return OpenOther\('/html/zgothic/1romanes/re-2/3f4\_1151.html'\)" href="/html/zgothic/1romanes/re-2/3f4\_1151.html">frieze at Beaucaire</a>\), as well as with the <a onclick="return OpenOther\('/html/a/antelami/depositi.html'\)" href="/html/a/antelami/depositi.html">work of Benedetto Antelami.</a> Anselmo himself is credited with the Passion scenes, from Christ Washing the Feet of the Disciples to Christ Carrying the Cross.
