## Commentary

Codex pictoratus Balthasaris Behem 1505 Manuscript \(Rps. 16\) Biblioteka Jagiellonska, Cracow The codex contains the statutes and privilegies of the town of Cracow. It was made for and owned by Balthasar Behem, Chancellor of Cracow. The miniature on the frontispiece, shown here, depicts the Crucifix with Mary and St John.
