# Allegory of July: Triumph of Jupiter [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [TURA, Cosmè]() - Date: 1451-1500 - Technique: Fresco, 500 x 320 cm ## Commentary The upper scene depicts the Triumph of Jupiter as an allegory of July. To the left is a wedding, and monks at a sanctuary, to the right clerics and knight, and a young man resting can be seen. In the centre the astrological symbol Leo, below Duke Borso receives dignitaries.
