## Commentary

On the end wall with the fireplace the coat of arms and device of the patron, Valerano Saluzzo can be seen. At left the party of mounted musicians in the vanguard of the Fountain of Youth train is depicted. At right are Hector and Alexander the Great, the first figures in the cycle of Nine Heroes and Nine Heroines.
