# Exterior view [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [ARCHITECT, Flemish]() - Date: 1651-1700 - Technique: Photo ## Commentary In the later seventeenth century domestic architecture in the Southern Netherlands remained substantially linked to traditional forms of construction which had been in use for centuries. It is noticeable, however, that the decorative details display a more sculptural and varied character than before.
