# Tree of Jesse [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [MINIATURIST, French]() - Date: 1101-1150 - Technique: Manuscript, 125 x 75 mm ## Commentary This coloured ink drawing on parchment is from a manuscript made at the Cistercian abbey of Citeaux. It is done in a style that reflects Byzantine influences.
