# Stuppach Madonna [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [GRÜNEWALD, Matthias]() - Date: 1501-1550 - Technique: Oil on canvas mounted on wood, 186 x 150 cm ## Commentary The painting was the central panel of the Altarpiece of Our Lady of the Snow in the Abbey Church at Aschaffenburg, near Bad Mergentheim.
