## Commentary

Probably part of a dismantled polyptych, the composition of the panel recalls the same scene in the &lt;a onclick=&#34;return OpenOther\(&#39;/html/g/giotto/padova/3christ/scenes\_4/chris22.html&#39;\)&#34; href=&#34;/html/g/giotto/padova/3christ/scenes\_4/chris22.html&#34;&gt;Giotto fresco&lt;/A&gt; in the Scrovegni Chapel at Padua but appears to have been influenced by the Rimini school.
