The Harbour at Bergen 1884 Oil on canvas, 63 x 86 cm Nasjonalgalleriet, Oslo This picture was inspired by a painting of <a onclick="return OpenOther\('/html/c/caillebo/06canoe.html'\)" href="/html/c/caillebo/06canoe.html">similar subject by Caillebotte.</a> In Krohg's version the rower is turning briefly to check his course and avoid a collision with other boats, not least the steamer in the background.
