# Still-Life [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [CERUTI, Giacomo]() - Date: 1701-1750 - Technique: Oil on canvas, 63 x 68 cm ## Commentary This still-life with herring, lobster, turbot, red mullet, oysters, gurnard, lemon, chicory root, carrots, onions, terracotta pot and ladle, and straw flask, was executed during the artist's stay in Venice, from about 1736 to 1742.
