## Commentary

St Stanislas Raises a Body from the Death c. 1338 Fresco Lower Church, San Francesco, Assisi This fresco is part of the decoration of the singing gallery in the Lower Church. The miraculous event is set in the graveyard of a monastery, while the large church in the background represents the basilica of St Francis in Assisi.
