# Hector and Ajax [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [CANOVA, Antonio]() - Date: 1751-1800 - Technique: Marble ## Commentary The two colossal marbles, placed opposite each other, recall the positioning of the Pugilists in the Vatican Museums.
