# Monument to the Doge Marco Corner [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [PISANO, Nino]() - Date: 1351-1400 - Technique: Marble ## Commentary The monument to the doge Marco Corner \(died 1368\) is in the presbytery of the Basilica. It was dismantled when it was moved to leave space for the neighbouring monument to the doge Andrea Vendramin. In the centre, the Virgin, signed by Nino Pisano, between Sts Peter and Paul.
