# Bust of Alexandre Brongniart [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [HOUDON, Jean-Antoine]() - Date: 1751-1800 - Technique: Marble, height 39 cm ## Commentary This keen-eyed mischievous-looking boy is Alexandre Brongniart, son of the architect Alexandre Théodore Brongniart \(1739-1813\).
