# The Mass at Bolsena \(detail\) [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [RAFFAELLO Sanzio]() - Date: 1501-1550 - Technique: Fresco, width of detail: 136 cm ## Commentary As in The Expulsion of Heliodorus, Raphael here made Julius II a witness of a miracle that took place in the past.
