# Lancelot-Grail [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [MINIATURIST, French]() - Date: 1451-1500 - Technique: Manuscript \(MS Fr 112\) ## Commentary The miniature on folio 5 of this manuscript depicts the Round Table and the vision of the Holy Grail on Whit Sunday. The names of the knights are inscribed above them or on their chairs. Here Lancelot presides instead of the king.
