# Spring [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [MILLET, Jean-François]() - Date: 1851-1900 - Technique: Oil on canvas, 86 x 111 cm ## Commentary In 1868, the artist was commissioned by his patron, Félix Hartmann, for painting a series representing the four seasons.
