## Commentary

Lorenzo&#39;s prayer book also constitutes a masterpiece of calligraphy. Its clear and well-balanced Scriptura Humanistica is the work of the Florentine scribe Antonio Sinibaldi \(1443-before 1528\). In addition to the ornamental borders, numerous initials enliven this double page \(folios 51v and 52r\).
