# Monsieur Louis Pascal, Seen from the Back [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [TOULOUSE-LAUTREC, Henri de]() - Date: 1851-1900 - Technique: Oil on cardboard, 65 x 41 cm ## Commentary Louis Pascal was Lautrec's second cousin, and had been a fellow pupil at the Lycée Fontane in Paris. Lautrec valued his company, as well as that of his mistress, Moute. Pascal later worked as an insurance broker.
