## Commentary

This print depicts an Italian landscape with Tobias and the angel on a road in right foreground, shepherds near ruins in left foreground, a ruined tower in right background, other shepherds and their flocks in middle distance. This is one from a series of thirty-six plates showing Italian landscapes after Paul Bril by Willem van Nieulandt.
