The Chapter Housein English cathedrals and monasteries, a room or hall for meetings of the chapter (governing body); usually polygonal or round in plan. for the monasterythe complex of buildings used by a community of monks. Among the main elements of the complex are the church, cloister, chapter house (used by the governing body), refectory (dining room) and dormitory (sleeping quarters). of Santa Croce was commissioned by the powerful Pazzi family and is known as the Pazzi Chapela small separate place for worship, either part of a large church or a separate building.. Although the structure may have been designed c. 1423-24, the construction did not start until 1442 and it was only finished c. 1465. The design of the façadethe front or principal face of a building, especially one elaborately constructed; a blind façade is a façade that is purely decorative and does not relate to the structure of the building., still unfinished, is only partially based on Brunelleschi's design. The plan and interior, however, represent an amplification and consolidation of the principles announced earlier in Brunelleschi's Sacristya side room of a church where a priest puts on his vestments and where the sacred vessels and vestments are kept. of San Lorenzo.
