COMMENTARY

Piero began his work in the choir chapel with the still missing figural decor in the framing of the vaulting compartments. The male figures (prophets) in the upper register of the altar wall are also credited to Piero and his workshop. There are also fragments on the inner face of the pillars of the entry arch.
